How Baltic InCan Trade OÜ handles the personal data you share with us through this website. Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who we are

Baltic InCan Trade OÜ (registry code 17443960), Tallinn, Estonia, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@balticincantrade.com.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry through the form or by email, we receive the details you choose to give us. Through the form, that is: the type of enquiry, your name, company, business email address, country, the product or category, approximate quantity or requirements, destination or target market, how you heard about us, and your message.

We use these details to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can help, and to keep a record of our correspondence.

Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Like most websites, our hosting provider's servers automatically record technical information such as IP addresses and the pages requested. To limit repeated submissions, the form handler stores a one-way hashed form of your IP address with the times of submissions made in the past hour.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own website.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. This website and our email are hosted by Hostinger, which processes data on our behalf to provide those services.

Introductions are part of what we do. If your enquiry leads to an introduction to a potential supplier or buyer, we will share only the relevant details, and only with your agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to business: we generally keep the related personal information for up to two years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or justified on another lawful basis.

Enquiries that lead to business: we keep relevant business information for as long as the business relationship lasts, and afterwards only for as long as needed to meet applicable legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping requirements, and legitimate record-keeping needs.

We do not keep personal information indefinitely without a reason.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
  • provide your data in a portable format;
  • stop using your data where we rely on our legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, email info@balticincantrade.com. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee), or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date above.
